Jim McCullin's (Bracketman) 1969 442. I bought this car when I was 15 years old from my brother. It has undergone many changes until I took it off the street in 1993. I would drive out to Texas Motorplex, bolt on slicks and uncork the exhaust and run 11.80's then drive back home. After the second time I had to call Randy (Thirdworld) to bring his trailer to come get me I decided to take the car off the street. Best ET to date 11.033 @ 119.07mph in the 1/4 mile, best 1/8 mile time 6.947 @ 97.20mph, and best 60' time of 1.457. The car weighs 3400 lbs with me in it and is powered by a .030 over 455 originally prepped by Randy who did head porting and assembly as well as some machine work. The cam is a Mondello JM-30 installed at 1 degree advanced at 105. Trans is a TH400 with a Hipster brake and rearend is 12 bolt Chevy with a Strange spool and 4:10 Richmond gears. Fuel pump is a BG 280 and induction is through either a Torker (best et) or a Supersonic (it looked so much better just looking at it) and a 4 inch cowl induction.
